When we began working on the interior design for Palestine Nights, we weren’t just designing a restaurant we were building a story. A story that echoes the streets of Jerusalem, the markets of Nablus, and the soul of every Palestinian home. The goal was simple: to bring warmth, identity, and heritage into every detail.

Creating More Than a Space Designing a Cultural Experience
At Bold Plus, interior design is not just about creating beautiful spaces. It’s about designing experiences that resonate. When we were approached to design the interiors for Palestine Nights Restaurant, we knew this project had to go beyond trends and surface-level aesthetics. It had to tell a story. A story of culture, of tradition, and of emotional connection.
Our mission was to bring the heart of Palestine into every corner of the restaurant. From the floor underfoot to the artwork on the walls, every detail needed to carry meaning. We weren’t building a restaurant. we were building a feeling.
Designing With Culture in Mind
The heart of this design was Palestine. That meant honoring its architecture, traditions, and colors—but doing so in a way that feels refined and contemporary.
We designed curved archways inspired by old cities like Hebron and Jerusalem. The textures on the walls mimicked stone and plaster seen in historic Palestinian homes. Seating was crafted with rustic wood and adorned with traditional fabrics, while the cushions and upholstery featured hints of tatreez (Palestinian embroidery), tying memory to comfort.
One of the most iconic touches was the integration of Arabic calligraphy and motifs throughout the space. From hand-lettered poetry on the walls to olive branch carvings on panels, every symbol was there to remind guests of resilience, belonging, and home.

Every project we take on at Bold Plus begins with deep discovery. Before sketching a line or sourcing a single material, we listened. We spent time understanding the client’s vision, their emotional connection to the Palestinian heritage, and the kind of atmosphere they wanted to share with their guests.
From there, our interior design process came to life, step by step. We guided the full journey from concept development and spatial planning to moodboarding, material selection, and final styling.
What made this project unique was the purpose behind it. We didn’t want to recreate a historical museum. We wanted to evoke the nostalgia of Palestine in a way that feels fresh, welcoming, and alive.
Materials That Connect the Past and Present
We selected natural, earthy materials not just for their beauty, but for their symbolism. Terracotta, aged wood, textured plaster, and handwoven fabrics all told their own stories.
Lighting design played a huge role as well. We opted for warm, ambient lighting that casts a gentle glow across the room, simulating the warmth of a traditional Palestinian evening. The lighting wasn’t about brightness—it was about emotion. About inviting people to gather, share, and stay a little longer.
Our design was also practical. The layout optimized both movement and intimacy, creating flexible zones that could serve couples, families, or larger groups without compromising the restaurant’s unique personality.
Every Detail Matters
In a space like Palestine Nights, the magic lies in the details. Our team curated each element with intention.
The decor was more than ornamental—it was storytelling. Antique-style serving pots, olive wood accessories, ceramic jars, copper utensils, and handcrafted wall art all worked together to make guests feel like they were stepping into a home, not just a venue.
Even the menus and signage followed the same visual thread. We collaborated with the branding team to make sure that everything—from logos to tableware spoke the same language of heritage and hospitality.
